NIPPARTS NUMBERING SYSTEM


The Nipparts numbering system was developed especially to create clearness in a complicated OE numbering system. Every Nipparts number represents one or more OE references. Please see the explanation of our numbering system:

The "J" and "N" represent the Nipparts spare parts for Asian cars.
The "482" stands for the main parts group, in this case Tie rod ends.
The "8" stands for the major car brand this part is fitted on, in this case Suzuki:

          1 = Nissan
          2 = Toyota
          3 = Mazda
          4 = Honda
          5 = Mitsubishi
          6 = Daihatsu
          7 = Subaru
          8 = Suzuki
          9 = Isuzu
          0 = Korean brands

The "015 and 016" are the counter positions for these parts.

 

The Korean spare parts are numbered in a similar way:

          01 = Asia
          02 = Hino
          03 = Kia
          04 = Ssangyong
          05 = Hyundai
          06 =
          07 = Proton
          08 =
          09 = Daewoo/Chevrolet
